Last week when I published the Roller Skate Pillow pattern, a fellow crocheter on Facebook suggested that it would make a cute Christmas stocking. Roller skating was big in the 70s, and it seems to be making a comeback. My husband was a jam skater in his youth, and our children were true rink rats. If the rink was open, they were there! We even tried buying a skating business at the time, the but owner just couldn't part with her rink. October is National Skating Month, so I made this cute pillow shaped like a roller skate. We're still in 100-degree weather in San Antonio, but I'm still in a Halloween mood. This week I will be publishing three different designs for chair socks to get your dining room ready for Halloween. Today's pattern is a ghost chair sock, which will be followed by Frankenstein's monster and a spider. The ghost chair sock takes only 11 yards of white yarn and takes just a few minutes to crochet.
